Unseasonably warm for October, Kacey & Anthony celebrated their fall wedding with summer weather at the stunning Allen Hill Tree Farm.  With bold fall colors, pumpkins and mums, hot apple cider and a s'mores bar by the fire pit, this wedding was quintessential fall in New England.


Kacey, in a elegant open back lace gown, joined her husband Anthony for their first look in the privacy of Allen Hill Apple Orchard, the perfect setting for their first embrace on their wedding day.


With a quartet playing, the sun shining, and surrounded by 100 family and friends, Kacey & Anthony were married against the backdrop of Connecticut fall foliage.  


Cocktail Hour highlights included Chef John hand carving imported Parma di Prosciutto and making fresh Mozzarella Cheese, fried zucchini blossoms stuffed with local herbed goat cheese, bacon wrapped scallops, grilled cheese wedges and tomato soup shooters, as well as a plentiful Mediterranean Station.


The couple offered complimentary beer, wine and cider to their guests through out the evening, as well as two signature cocktails: a Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned for him, and a Spiced Pear cocktail for her.


Dinner was served as a combination of plated, buffet, and stations.  family style cornbread and fresh rolls served with a plated apple and cranberry house salad led way to a buffet of garlic mashed potatoes and brown gravy, garlicky couve Minerva, and roasted beets with fennel.  Guests then enjoyed a roasted turkey and herb crusted prime rib carving station, and finally, a chef attended pasta station.


Dessert was a joint effort between On The Spot Catering and NoRA, where Kacey works.  NoRA provided the delicious mint cutting cake, gluten free salted caramel chocolate cupcakes, irish carbomb cucpakes, and double stuffed oreo cupcakes.  On The Spot Catering added some sweet touches with apple, pecan and pumpkin mini pies.


The night ended around the fire pit, with a s'more station and coffee by On The Spot Catering.
